The Department of Mathematics is serving the academic needs of the Padmavani Arts and Science College for Women since 2005. The department offer undergraduate course (2005), Post graduate course (2010) and M. Phil Programme (2012). The department has qualified and dedicated faculty members who are actively engaged in teaching and research. Our department aims to make the students active Critical thinkers and Problem solvers and also to promote the research activity. Every year the department produce more than 95 percentage of results and maximum number of centum in various papers.
To promote the students in higher standard, make them to be active Critical thinkers and Problem solvers that contribute positively to the world in which we live and learn.
Prepare students for deeper understanding of mathematical theory.
Be able to communicate mathematical/logical ideas in writing.
To mould through innovative, creative and thinking capability.
